Quote requests
When you use “Get a quote”, the form asks for your hotel or resort’s name and website, your name and email address, what material you already have, and anything else you choose to add. When you press “Request a quote”, our website sends these answers to our inbox once, as an email; the website itself does not keep them. If sending is not possible at that moment, the form opens your own email app with the answers filled in instead, and nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.
To keep automated spam out, the form has a hidden field and a short time check. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many requests can be sent in a minute; it is not stored with your enquiry.
We use these details only to reply to you and to prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We do not use them for marketing and do not sell or share them.
We keep an enquiry while we are in contact about it. If no contract follows, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact. If we work together, the correspondence becomes part of the customer relationship and is kept as long as that requires, and accounting records as long as Finnish law requires.
Visiting this website
- No cookies, analytics or advertising. We do not set cookies and do not track you across pages or sites. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie that tells people from automated traffic.
- Server data. To deliver the site and keep it secure, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept only briefly, for operation and security.
- The interactive map runs in your browser and loads only from this website. It does not report what you look at. Display settings you choose on it, such as the rendering quality or snow on the trees, are remembered in your browser’s local storage so the map opens the same way next time; they never leave your device. You can clear them in your browser’s settings.
- Fonts and images are served from this website, not from third parties.
Who processes the data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects this website and delivers the emails the quote form sends. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Our email provider stores the emails you send us, including quote requests.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive data you gave us in a portable format. We make no decisions about you by automated means.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Changes
If what we collect or who processes it changes, we update this notice and the date at the top.
